Twitter Humbles Itumeleng Khune

Twitter never falls short of drama, tonight was pretty hectic, I couldn't even keep up. Sure, Itumeleng Khune is arguably one of South Africa's best goal keepers but that didn't stop Black Twitter from having him as a midnight snack.

Khune has actually scooped a lot of awards and cash for his remarkable diving skills and distributions, I am guessing, I am not much of a soccer fan. It was actually a chilled night until the Mexico Vs Brazil match, Khune was being his usual self shem, posting commentary like every soccer fan on my TL, it was a really heated match it seemed.

Khune lost it at: “@IIKHUNE_32_16: *43 another great safe from the mexican keeper #Ochoa #BrazilvsMexico #FifaWorldCup14”...

That is how I actually knew that it is not his day and Sipho didn't miss an opportunity to troll our Khune of Kaizer Chiefs;

We will disregard the typo inception because we know how Sipho can be pathetic with his deliberate typos but I'm thinking probably Khune forgot that he is our goal keeper and that we didn't qualify for the World Cup, he is just tryna enjoy soccer and live tweet but twitter is evil, you can never forget that.

As the game was nearing the end, a fan tweeted him;

“@Tyga_scar: Mexican keeper remynds me of @IIKHUNE_32_16 im tokn abt wow saves damn.bt it aint ova til de fat lady sings #WorldCup2014 TEAM BRAZIL”

And Khune did an honorable thing and RTed the guy, he didn't even say thanks or anything like that, I'm assuming he did not pay that much mind into it, he continued to tweet about the game. Needless to say that nobody knew this Mexican keeper before the WC, well he's Ochoa and he's quite amazing and he is not signed to any team if that's important so he's pretty much a nobody (for lack of a better word).

As we were still marinating in the fact that Brazil is gon draw, another Khune fan tweeted:

“@8VINCENT: Ths mexican keeper be doing those million dollar @IIKHUNE_32_16 saves. Top notch fly”

And our Khune RTed and nobody said anything and if I actually had super powers I would've put Khune to sleep immediately after that RT. What this tweet did is it affirmed that Khune is as good as Ochoa, in his head of course, only then it hit him that he's actually the best, and he wouldn't just let that compliment slide with just an RT. Khune went on to give Black Twitter ammunition by tweeting:

Maaaaan, twitter went wild! I ain't never seen so many memes, everyone was pretty much twit picing their reaction to the tweet more than anything. Tweeps were in disbelief as to how can this nigger compare himself with Ochoa when he is chilling on his couch...

THE BREAD AND THE 4

It was actually slow out on Black Twitter this yesterday morning, my TL was all over, everyone tryna tweet their own stuff. However things went astray when Tswana/Sotho Twitter (One of Black Twitter sub divisions, which consists of all the "cool" Tswana and Sotho tweeps) logged on, what I like about this group of tweeps is that they come in and mind their own business, tweet their experiences and tell stories and their tweets are hard to miss on ones TL. 
Yesterday was not any different from all the other days. 
Well they are a few prominent names that are worth noting, if you not here you not interesting; @Ofentse_ZA, @Mosensei, @OwaMelato_O, @Comrade_Chef, @Thato_Legend, @Chatlas LesibanaMakgai, Markallo, Obusitse, Makaulouso*not sure about your handles, champs* and others whom I did not mention but feel they belong on this must forgive me, I hardly see yo'all on my TL.

In the mist of minding our own business, OwaMelato_O tweeted;
